Were you in foster care when you turned 18? If you’re now between 18-26 years old, we’re here to support you during this important chapter of your life. We understand that leaving foster care can feel overwhelming, and we want you to know that you don’t have to figure everything out on your own. That’s why we created Bloom Beyond.
At Bloom Beyond, we believe in your potential and are committed to providing you with the resources, guidance, and support you need to create the future you envision for yourself. What Services Does Bloom Beyond OFFer?
Navigator Support
There are many resources available that you might not know about or find difficult to access. Our navigators will work with you to figure out what you need and help make it happen.
Navigation Support Offers
- Someone Who Listens: You’ll be assigned a “navigator” who is there to understand your goals and challenges
- Direct Help: We’ll assist you in finding appropriate resources, completing paperwork and filling out applications as needed
- Free Resources: Get access to essential items through The Bloom Closet

Free Clothing and Essentials Through the Bloom Closet
The Bloom Closet provides free essentials. Shop in person at one of our two stores, or, if you live farther away, get a box delivered to your door.

Can’t Get to a Store? Choose a Box
If you live at least 30 miles from both Bloom Closet locations, you can choose the box that fits your needs:
- Essentials: casual clothing, pajamas, socks, underwear, hygiene products, etc.
- Career Readiness: interview and work items such as business casual attire, scrubs, work boots, and nonslip shoes
- Note: Box contents vary based on what’s available.
How it Works
1. Apply to shop at the Bloom Closet.
2. Receive approval by email.
3. Schedule an appointment to shop in person, or have your box delivered.
Bloom Beyond’s Leadership Council
Help Shape the future of Foster Care in Georgia
Change the Future of Foster Care in Georgia by applying to join our leadership council! Young adults aged 16-26 with experience in Georgia’s foster care system are encouraged to apply. As a Council Member, you’ll help shape programs and services for transition-aged youth in foster care, drawing from your personal experiences to create positive change. You’ll also be a part of a cohort of other outstanding young adults while gaining additional leadership and independent living skills. You will also be provided with a $100 monthly stipend for your participation in our monthly virtual meetings.
