Through Bloom Beyond, young adults who have experienced foster care are reaching important milestones, from earning diplomas and pursuing college degrees to building careers and becoming advocates for others.

Meet Michael
Michael is beginning his sophomore year at the University of South Carolina, where he is studying Sport and Entertainment Management with a concentration in Venue and Event Management.
This summer, he welcomed incoming students to campus as an orientation leader and capped off an incredible year by earning a spot on the President’s List.
Michael continues to set ambitious goals for himself, and we could not be prouder to watch him thrive in college and build a future filled with possibility.
Meet Addelyn
At just 21 years old, Addelyn is already balancing responsibilities many people twice her age have never faced. She is raising two toddlers while also helping care for her teenage brother.
Yet through it all, she remained committed to her own future.
This year, Addelyn reached an important milestone. She earned her GED.
Her perseverance is a powerful reminder of what can happen when young adults have encouragement, resources and people in their corner. We are incredibly proud of Addelyn and cannot wait to see what she accomplishes next.
Meet Deziray
Deziray knows firsthand the challenges young people in foster care can face, and she is using those experiences to make a difference for others.
As a member of the Bloom Beyond Leadership Council, Deziray is a passionate advocate for foster youth. She also works at T-Mobile and recently celebrated another major accomplishment. She graduated from high school.
Now, she is taking the next step toward her future with plans to pursue Youth Education at Lanier Technical College.
Known for her optimism, compassion and exceptional work ethic, Deziray is the kind of person who makes others feel welcome and is always willing to lend a hand. She is not only building a bright future for herself, but helping light the way for others.
