Bloom is excited to announce that Lizard Thicket will be a returning sponsor of this year’s Frocks & Rocks fashion show. As the sole retailer for this event, attendees can preview new and trendy fall and winter fashion styles from the Peachtree City and Newnan Lizard Thicket locations.
Carly Issacson, owner of the Lizard Thicket in Peachtree City, has been involved with the Frocks & Rocks event since its inception in 2013. She has been extremely passionate and supportive of Bloom’s mission over the years. Thanks to Carly, a team of Lizard Thicket volunteers helps sort and hang clothing regularly at The Bloom Closet. Her location also organizes collection drives for Bloom and even hosts “Give Back” days, where proceeds from items purchased in the store go directly to Bloom.
“We are thrilled to partner with Bloom for the eleventh year in a row to support their Frocks & Rocks fashion show,” said Carly. “By partnering with Bloom, we hope to raise awareness and provide crucial resources to help foster children overcome challenges and achieve their dreams. This event is about more than fashion—it’s about changing lives.”
The Newnan Lizard Thicket is owned by sisters Ashley Beosky and Amanda Harrill, who have also been long-term supporters of Bloom. Amanda had always been amazed at what Bloom does for the children in foster care, but it wasn’t until she became a Bloom foster parent herself that she truly understood the level of support that Bloom provides for its foster families.
“Bloom takes care of everyone—from the foster children to the families that provide them care,” said Amanda. According to Amanda, Bloom played an invaluable role in her decision to foster and eventually adopt three beautiful girls. Ashley agrees that Bloom’s support and guidance were instrumental in her nieces’ adoption process.
Ashley and Amanda enjoy participating in Frocks & Rocks and share that their favorite part is seeing everyone come together to support and honor the children and Bloom as an organization. They cherish the fun styles seen throughout the fashion show and agree that the live auction is one of the event highlights.
“The high energy surrounding the event and witnessing how much money can be raised for foster children is truly extraordinary,” said Ashley.
