At Bloom, we are continually inspired by the community of supporters who make our work possible. And this month, we’re especially grateful for a story that beautifully reflects the heart behind giving.
One of our dedicated monthly donors recently made an additional $250 gift in honor of someone very special: a grandmother who stepped up as a foster placement for a child in need. As a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate), this donor has witnessed firsthand the difference caring adults can make in a young person’s life. She wanted to recognize this grandmother’s extraordinary commitment to providing stability, love, and support through a meaningful act of generosity.
We were so touched by this tribute and quickly reached out to express our gratitude and to share that a letter acknowledging the honor would be sent on the donor’s behalf. Moments like these remind us that it truly takes a village to support children in foster care, and we are deeply thankful for compassionate champions like these who show up when it matters most.
