Bloom is grateful for the continued partnership with Pace Academy, whose students, parents, and staff have shown incredible support in furthering Bloom’s mission to help foster children thrive.
Throughout the year, Pace Academy has hosted a collection bin and drives for Bloom, providing high-quality apparel for children entering foster care. Beyond donating, Pace students have gone the extra mile by volunteering their time to sort, organize, and prepare clothing donations for the Bloom Closet. Their hands-on service has made a meaningful difference in ensuring that every child we serve feels cared for and valued.
Fred Assaf, Head of School at Pace Academy, recently praised the school’s partnership with Bloom, noting, “Our partnership with Bloom is thriving.”
This fall, Bettina Drake, a Pace parent and Bloom Board Member, took that commitment a step further by hosting “Blooms for Bloom,” a gathering at her home for fellow Pace parents. Attendees came together to learn more about Bloom’s mission and brought donations of full-sized toiletries and cozy pajamas for children in foster care.
“We’re so grateful for the Pace Academy community and their continued commitment to Bloom’s mission,” said Becky Davenport, Bloom CEO. “Seeing the students and families so engaged in helping foster children is truly inspiring.”
Bloom is honored to have such compassionate partners in the Pace community, whose generosity and engagement help provide stability, dignity, and hope to Georgia’s foster youth. Together, we’re making a lasting impact—one child at a time.
