The Jeters are passionate advocates, actively working to ensure each child has access to the services and resources necessary to thrive. They stay informed about every service the children receive and collaborate closely with providers to ensure that support is meaningful and effective.
Their commitment extends well beyond meeting basic needs. The Jeters invest deeply in the children’s education, supporting academic success and encouraging well-rounded development through extracurricular activities. They celebrate achievements, provide incentives for good grades, and teach valuable life skills such as responsibility, household tasks, and money management.
In the Jeter home, children experience stability, encouragement, and unconditional care. They feel safe expressing their emotions and know their well-being is always the top priority. The Jeters treat every child as part of their family—sharing vacations, everyday traditions, and the experiences that help children feel truly included and valued.
In response to the growing need for families for sibling groups and teens, the Jeters have opened their home to both, offering stability and connection to children who need it most.
Because of the Jeters, the children in their home have the opportunity to explore new interests, grow in confidence, and build a hopeful future. Their compassion, advocacy, and commitment make them more than deserving of the title Foster Parent of the Year.
