Episcopal Community Foundation Strengthens Bloom’s Impact in Northwest Georgia

Bloom is incredibly grateful to the Episcopal Community Foundation for its generous investment in our Bloom Closet Northwest Georgia. The Foundation partners with Episcopal communities throughout Middle and North Georgia to lift up people facing poverty and oppression, creating sustainable impact for individuals, families, and communities.

Through this grant, Bloom was able to purchase a commercial washer and dryer, along with essential storage supplies for our Bloom Closet. These additions have strengthened our ability to process, organize, and store donated clothing and other necessities, creating a more efficient and welcoming space for volunteers while ensuring children impacted by foster care receive clean, high-quality items with dignity.

“This investment strengthens our ability to serve children and families throughout Northwest Georgia with the dignity and care they deserve,” said Becky Davenport, President & CEO of Bloom. “We are incredibly thankful to the Episcopal Community Foundation for believing in our mission and helping us build the capacity to meet the growing needs of our community.”

With this support, Bloom can maximize the generosity of our donors, serve more foster children and families, and continue expanding our impact throughout Northwest Georgia.

Thank you to the Episcopal Community Foundation for helping children and families thrive!
